videography is necessary, frequently asked questions,

This isn't a question that's necessarily asked directly to me but I do see the question pop up in random places often. There's a simple reason why I got into the wedding videography business.  Most people say their wedding is an out of body experience so being able to transform someones wedding day into a work of art that they can relive over and over again is a special feeling for  me. I believe having a videographer is just as important as having a photographer, in fact more so. If a picture is worth a thousand words, than a video has endless words. Numerous brides I've worked with have told me that having a videographer was the best decision they made, other than getting married of course!

wedding feature film, frequently asked questions

The Feature Film is a more in-depth look at your wedding day.  Every video package I offer includes a highlight film but only a couple packages include a feature film. The highlight film is exactly what the name entails. It's a highlight of the best moments from your wedding day. The feature film on the other hand is a much longer and extensive film that provides detailed segments. These include the pre-ceremony & getting ready prep, the full ceremony, cocktail hour, introductions, special dances, cake cutting, every toast spoken, bouquet & garter toss, the dance party, the send off and any other event that takes place during your wedding day.  The feature film is crafted with our unique yet classic editing style while also overlaying the film with songs of your choice. If you feel like the highlight film just isn't enough, I highly recommend a video package that offers the feature film.

frequently asked questions

When couples are deciding whether or not they want to have video, they often worry about how obtrusive it will be to add a team of videographers to their day. Couples that are a little more camera shy express this concern.  It's important for me to know what boundaries you’d like to set. Past brides have told me they had no clue how I captured some of the shots I got because I was unobtrusive to their liking. However,  there are certain shots that I must get with my camera that look awesome in the video, but I’m a little bit more visible. I try my hardest to never get in the photographers way as well. It’s up to every couple to decide where their comfort zone is with that. There are some couples that say, “stay away, we don’t want to see you all day,” while other couples that say, “do whatever it takes, I don’t care if you have to stand next to the groom during the vows, get the shot!” Neither couple is right or wrong for what they want, everybody just has different opinions. It’s my job to communicate with the couple before the wedding and find out just what the right approach is to filming their wedding.

frequently asked questions, quick turn around time video,

My goal is to get my films out as soon as I can but without rushing the creative process.  My current turn around time can be anywhere from 2 to 4 months depending on the time of year. For instance, if your wedding is in October (busiest month for weddings here) it will most likely be 3-4.

italian wedding videography

I've been asked this quite a few times and I love answering it! My company does have an italian theme simply because I am 100 percent italian and very proud of it. I went to Italy for the first time a couple years ago and fell in love with the village of Positano. I loved it so much in fact, I had to change my business name to something that represented my italian heritage. I chose "Thats Amore Films" because of not only the word Amore' meaning Love in italian, but "That's Amore" is also a very popular italian song by the late Dean Martin that is played at almost every italian wedding!  I feel like weddings and Italy go hand in hand.  People often get married or honeymoon in Italy because of the romance and beauty that Italy offers!

destination wedding video

Right now, my advertising and marketing is targeted strongly in Austin which is where I live but because I am from Dallas, I get tons of inquiries from there and visit often because my parents still live in Flower Mound.  My long term goal is to be a well known wedding film maker all over the world. So not only will I go to Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas, but I’ll go to Florida, California, Hawaii, Mexico, France, Italy or wherever else I can find a bride and groom that appreciates the work I do. There is NO travel fee for Dallas weddings. For weddings anywhere else inside of the United States, I offer a flat travel fee of $500 on top of any package listed on my website. For weddings outside of the U.S. I have to draw up a custom quote.  Email me today so we can start planning!
